Network Engineer III
Join us as a network engineer III, where you will play a key role in leading, designing, and evolving large-scale enterprise network infrastructure across corporate, retail, and data center environments. This role blends advanced technical expertise, project leadership, and cross-team collaboration.
As a network engineer III, you will act as a technical authority, helping guide architectural decisions, improve operational maturity, and support multi-year modernization initiatives as well as supporting our customers operationally. You’ll influence standards, tooling direction, and best practices while empowering the broader team.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support for network operations across a broad spectrum of technologies, including routing, switching, load balancing, security, DNS, Cloud, WiFi, etc
- Shape and support network strategy and modernization by advising stakeholders, contributing to roadmap planning, and delivering scalable, resilient infrastructure initiatives across stores, regional offices, warehouses, and datacenters
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders and product teams, while acting as an escalation point for complex incidents, leading root cause analysis and driving automated, repeatable remediation
Observability & Automation
- Design, implement, and continuously evolve network monitoring and observability to enable proactive detection, rapid response, and data-driven decision-making.
- Develop actionable dashboards, intelligent alerts, and automated responses, integrating them into Incident and Change Management workflows to improve visibility and stability.
- Identify, design, and implement automation solutions that improve consistency, efficiency, and reliability across the network environment helping to migrate to a more automated framework.k

- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience & Expertise
- 5+ years supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
- 5+ years experience using SolarWinds and(or) creating NetFlow dashboards.
- 5+ years with Infoblox, Azure, Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco, and F5
- 5+ years with firewall and security technologies (e.g., IPSEC, GRE, UTM, IDS/IPS)
- 4+ years with routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VPC, VSS, STP, MPLS, Load Balancing)
- 4+ years experience with Automation tools including Python, Ansible, or GitHub

Annualized Compensation Range
$95,000.00 - $105,000.00This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
