ProSync is seeking a Network Engineer to provide configuration, sustainment, and operational support for Cisco and Arista network devices across mission environments. The engineer will support STE/STN and SSP compliance requirements, maintain network health, and ensure reliable connectivity for operational systems. This role requires hands‑on device configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation, as well as the ability to travel as needed and participate in on‑call rotations to support mission‑critical networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Cisco & Arista Configuration — Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista switches, routers, and mission‑specific network appliances.
  • Network Sustainment — Perform ongoing sustainment activities including firmware updates, configuration audits, performance tuning, and fault isolation.
  • STE/STN & SSP Compliance — Ensure network devices meet STE/STN requirements and SSP compliance standards, including documentation, configuration validation, and security alignment.
  • Latte’Art Support — Utilize Latte’Art for configuration management, compliance verification, and device‑level operational support.
  • Operational On‑Call Support — Provide on‑call coverage for mission systems, responding to outages, degradations, and urgent network issues.
  • Travel for Mission Support — Travel to mission sites as required to perform installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and sustainment activities.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration — Work closely with system administrators, security teams, and mission operators to ensure network reliability and compliance.
  • Documentation & Reporting — Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, compliance artifacts, and operational reports.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of experience in network engineering (OR) An Associate's Degree, a High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience (OR) A Master’s degree or higher in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Significant experience with Cisco and Arista configuration and sustainment.
  • Familiarity with Latte 'Art and supporting STE/STN and SSP compliance for those devices.
  • Required to travel as needed and be on-call for Operational systems.
  • An IAT Level I certification or higher (e.g., A+, Network+, SSCP).
  • A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Skills Required
