Job Description

Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting computer networks for the Bank’s office, data centers, and cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and stable, secure systems.


In This Role, You Will
  • Plan and design network architectures, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and other network types.
  • Configure and install network hardware (like routers, switches, and servers) and software.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure optimal functionality and uptime. Proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Ensure network security by collaborating with IT Security on firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other protective measures. Ensure baseline security configurations are implemented and maintained, and vulnerabilities addressed.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and maintain connectivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Work with other IT professionals to integrate and optimize systems and assist with system administration tasks.

Qualifications
  • Equivalent to a college degree. Cisco certifications highly regarded.
  • Five or more years of similar or related professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, switching, routing, wireless.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in network diagnostic and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with network security best practices.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies and methodologies highly regarded.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and AWS highly regarded.
  • Accessible via cell phone during core bank hours, as well as after-hours, as needed, to provide support for normal business operations.
  • Able to work and travel independently and use general office equipment.
