This job serves as the infrastructure and network engineer is a hands-on technical role that combines network and systems engineering with a strong service delivery and quality mindset. This individual is responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and improving the bank's network and IT infrastructure while ensuring that technology services are delivered with consistency, accountability, and a focus on end-user experience.

  • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers, and related network infrastructure across all bank locations
  • Install, configure, repair, and support IT equipment and network connectivity at office and branch locations, including physical rack-and-stack work as needed
  • Assist with network upgrades, system patching, device replacements, firmware updates, and technology rollouts with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Support and administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related systems infrastructure
  • Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure across Layer 1, 2, and 3, ensuring optimal performance and avilability
  • Monitor systems performance, availability, and security alerts; participate in remediation and incident response activities
  • Coordinate with vendors, telecom providers (e.g. AT&T, Lumen) and internal IT teams to resolve infrastructure and connectivity  issues
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned incidents and service requests - from accurate categorization and prioritization through resolution, documentation, and closure - ensuring adherence to established SLAs
  • May require work on physical primises

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining routers, Firewalls, switches, and  wireless networking equipment in a multi-site environment, supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration, working within an ITSM framework - managing incidents, service requests, and change tickets using platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar tools and diagnosing and resolving end-user issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conferencing tools, and business applications.
  • Preferred: Some experience in managing CISCO ISE, or similar IAM products could be an added advantage. Advanced NGFW Firewall, IPS/IDS, network architecture design, IPSec VPN, incident response exposure, Any SD-WAN product knowledge and operational experience would be an added advantage
  • Currently not working offering sponsorship

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and various collaboration platforms, basic keyboarding and calculator skills, must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
  • Travel to a variety of locations including bank branches to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.

Skills Required
