Job Description

Purpose

Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Responsible for the planning, design, and execution of commissioning and operation for complex network systems.
• Identifying and analyzing problems and initiating solution measures
• Project planning and execution of commissioning and operation.
• Problem identification and documentation using a trouble ticket system, even in complex system landscapes.
• Initiating escalation procedures in critical problem cases.
• Serving as a technical contact.
• Representing the Network Administration department in cross-functional solution teams.
• Evaluating and assessing new technologies.
• Administering the deployed network and security systems.
• Integrating new customers into existing operational processes.
• Processing/executing complex orders.
• Installing and maintaining tools.
• Designing and introducing support tools.
• Participating in the development and planning of service concepts.
• Coordinating order processing.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have Master's or diploma degree with relevant professional experience or equivalent knowledge and skills,
• have at least five years of professional experience, with at least three years in IT administration,
• are customer-oriented and have entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, even at the management level,
• are professional, trustworthy, and empathetic demeanor at the management level,
• have excellent systematic, structured work style and strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills,
• are flexible, willing to perform, team worker, 
• have strong and broad technical understanding,
• are proficient in using the MS Office suite,
• have strong knowledge of Cisco FW systems such as ASA and Firepower,
• have strong knowledge of various network topologies (Ethernet, WLAN, etc.),
• have strong knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS,
• have strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/ACI,
• have good knowledge of services such as Multicast, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Tacas, and Radius,
• have strong knowledge of network infrastructures,
• have experience in working in project teams,
• have experience working in cross-team working groups and task forces,
• are willing to participate on on-call duties,
• speak English and German on B2+ level.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1850€ /brutto. We also provide a Sign on bonus of € 1,000 for each candidate hired for this position.
