We currently have a vacancy for a Network Engineer/Administrator fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague, the Netherlands. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated and closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team, on-site.
Your Tasks
- Providing technical support for upgrades and changes to the current and new Cisco infrastructure (e.g. Software Defined Networks “SDN” migration);
- Assist with 2nd and 3rd level escalations, incident troubleshooting and problem resolution;
- Supply the installation, technical, support and maintenance documentation and On-Call service;
- Perform installation of the necessary network configuration, maintenance and support activities in production and other environments, following the organisation processes and procedures;
- Change and release management activities related to the secure Cisco infrastructure.
- University Degree and at least 10 years of IT professional experience;
- More than 9 years of experience in Network and collaboration solutions in large enterprise environments;
- Participation in a minimum of 5 projects involving in network design and deployment;
- Good knowledge of CISCO Networks;
- Certification: CCNP;
- EU security clearance required;
- Excellent command of the English language.
