The Network Development Specialist is a critical member of the enterprise's Network Development team with responsibility for developing strong, stable provider networks nationwide and facilitating key recruitment related activities. This position will cultivate new and existing relationships with providers and their staff, Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), and internal business partners across the enterprise.
Responsibilities- Builds partnerships between providers and the company, with the concerted effort to build strong, stable provider networks
- Manages all recruitment projects and resources for your assigned territory
- Plans and executes daily recruitment schedule and approach
- Potentially evaluates and determines cost effectiveness of contracting specific providers
- Effectively interfaces with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- 2+ years of experience w/Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a secure remote environment
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays; occasional airplane travel may be required
- Strong planning and organizational skills including time management, collaboration, and network and competitor analysis
- A strong commitment to excellent customer service as demonstrated by consistently meeting deadlines and effective relationship building
- Utilizes strong verbal and written communication, networking, negotiating, problem solving and conflict management skills

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
