The Position

Your creative talent, technical expertise, and deep understanding of network needs will drive our design excellence to new heights.
As our Network Design Lead, you will be a crucial trendsetter in design, staying at the forefront of advancements in design and digital technology. Your innovative solutions will enhance our network's brand presence and communication, ensuring our design strategies align with Roche's digital goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Authority: Serve as the main authority on design within the Network, providing expert guidance and insights on all design-related activities.
- Strategy Oversight: Oversee design strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with Roche's overall digital strategy.
- Innovative Solutions: Develop cutting-edge design concepts tailored to the sector's unique requirements.
- Advisory Role: Act as a key advisor on design matters, influencing Network decisions and strategies.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with the Chapter Lead and team members to implement successful design projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Understand key stakeholders' design needs and offer expert recommendations.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure design outputs adhere to the highest quality standards and maintain brand consistency.
- Design Excellence Culture: Foster a culture of design excellence, advising on best practices and process improvements.
- Trends & Technologies: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to enhance Roche's design capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Review and approve design assets, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to developing and refining design processes and standards within the Network.
Who You Are:
You are a proactive, innovative design expert focused on sustainable and scalable solutions. You possess a deep understanding of the latest digital updates and design trends, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years of professional design experience, with significant expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Education: Degree in Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Extensive proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Track Record: Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and impactful design solutions.
- Design Knowledge: Deep knowledge of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Collaboration Skills: Experience working with various teams to achieve exceptional design solutions.
- Digital Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing visual content for digital platforms, including websites and social media.
- Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Preferred Requirements:
- Certifications: Knowledge/certifications in Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, or Project Management preferred.
- Visa & Travel: Possession of an American visa with potential travel requirements needed.
