WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic projects with the intent of driving positive sustained results and improving key performance indicators. The candidate will have a strong understanding of Network concepts, proven successful experience implementing process change, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments, as well as communicate effectively up and down the organizational structure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads, plans, and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel as all documentation is Excel based
- Advanced technical understanding of Network projects to discuss site requirements with all stakeholders including but not limited to engineers, PMs, and management
- Manages project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed
- Proactiveness is required as the role includes many layers of planning from the start of each site deployment from surveys, staging of hardware, and deployments
- Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the completion of each project’s objectives
- Manage customer expectations on updates of all documentation throughout the week for both customer internal documents
- Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met
- Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation, and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Technical Project Management with a focus on Networking
- Solid working knowledge of Networking concepts
- Successful history of leading, managing, and implementing impactful process improvement projects
- Proven self-starter operating with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing priorities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Project Management Certification strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
