We are currently seeking a Network and Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. Build, configure, manage to provide technical support and break/fix resolution for customer CDP cloud environments w.r.t SSO, traffic/trace monitoring, EntraID setup, PIM roles, DNS, Palo Alto, Site to Site VPN, Panorama, Docker, Audit support, OpenVAS containers etc.
Collaborate with automation mindset with the team to maintain AWS environments, Strong skills with Kubernetes based installation products and management, and other applications, ensuring smooth operations and resolving complex issues.
Possess expertise in AWS/Azure networking, including VPC, subnets, VPN, static and BGP routing, vulnerability management tools etc.
Assist with administering firewalls and routers effectively. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access, Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
Demonstrate strong work experience w.r.t virtual machines, disks, Linux maintenance, security architecture, Docker and Kubernetes, Kerberos, and authentication issues, as well as cloud environments.
Utilize scripting skills, such as bash, python, terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and API/REST scripting, to automate tasks (a plus).
Be the Network SME on all escalations from the Level 1/2 support team (Linux, AWS).
Handle new deployments, onboarding of new customers, deployment of new applications, and customizations, while documenting the process.
Collaborate with customers to resolve technical issues, utilizing a support ticket system and ensuring SLAs and ticket quality goals are met.
Participate in 24x7 shift coverage on rotation, including on-call availability.
Qualifications
8-12 years of relevant experience in network and cloud engineering.
Proficiency in AWS/Azure networking and network/ firewall/router technologies (Palo Alto experience is a must).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, Linux maintenance, security architectures, and cloud environments.
Scripting skills in bash, python, terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and API/REST scripting are a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience with support ticket systems and adherence to SLAs.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Flexibility to participate in rotational shifts and on-call availability.
