Role: Network and AV Systems Engineer  

As the Network and AV Systems Engineer for tastylive, you’ll be part of the team who runs our financial media broadcast network. You'll help to create an environment for our broadcast tech team and crew to succeed by providing leadership, efficiency and proactive solutions to continue to deliver the best end-product tastylive can offer.  

Tastylive produces 11 hours of content every day and provide production support for live events around the world every year. Our studios are brand new with industry leading IP-based solutions to deliver video and audio signals to viewers across the globe.

Who you are: 

• Experience with NDI and Dante networking is preferred, or an enthusiastic desire to learn these technologies 
• Experience with Vizrt products (Vectar Plus, Artist, Engine) and/or AV production and post-production workflows is also highly desirable 
• Capable of responding quickly to and remaining calm during high-pressure incidents 
• Ability to take a high degree of ownership in your work and function well as a subject matter expert and a proven track record of problem-solving and solutions focused work ethic 

What you’ll do: 

• Support, configure, and maintain about a dozen Netgear AVLine switches 
• Act as liaison with the larger Networking and IT teams at IG Group related to security, uplinks, internet access, and end user computing 
• Share responsibility for supporting and maintaining Vizrt products (Vectar Plus, Artist, Engine) and/or AV production and post-production workflows 
• Maintain a Ceph Clustered NAS storage server. It’s a vendor supported product, but you will be the primary maintainer of the system
• Be responsible for day-to-day nuts and bolts: troubleshooting problems, managing and monitoring high-availability systems and infrastructure, hardware and software installation, testing, supporting end users, managing access to existing accounts and services, etc... 
• Contribute to numerous interesting projects such as: Digital Asset Management, automation, live show data integrations, moving to the cloud, expanding and innovating workflows, etc.
