Network Analyst Student

As a Network Analyst Student at Irving Oil, you will be working with the Information Technology Service and Operations team. In this role you will have an opportunity to work with experienced professionals who support the network within our organization. As a member of the team, you will focus on:  

• Operational improvements; making upgrades and additions to the network 

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving issues, where required 

• Assist in network configurations; architectural designs 

• Identify and assess risks for services provided, and collaborate on mitigation and reduction of priority risks 

• Manage user testing for any network changes or upgrades

Your Skills: 

• Good organizational skills  

• Strong verbal and effective written communication skills 

• Interpersonal skills; approachable 

• Knowledge of common infrastructure technologies 

• Basic level understanding of Cisco networking configurations 

Your Experience: 

• Currently enrolled in an IT related program 

• Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school
