We're seeking a Network Administrator to support mission-critical operations at Hurlburt Field, Florida—a role that puts you at the technological heart of the U.S. Air Force's remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) operations.
What You’ll Be Doing :
Step into a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where you’ll:
- Assist with installations, upgrades, and mission-critical support for Air Force RPA Operations Centers.
- Ensure around-the-clock connectivity and video dissemination across multiple secure networks.
- Configure LANs/WANs and firewalls, and develop implementation plans that deliver real results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, all while documenting and maintaining key systems.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and complex technical puzzles—with independence and precision.
What You Bring to the Table: (Basic Qualifications):
- Security+ certification (per DoD 8570.01).
- An active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required in a related field and 3+ years of hands-on experience. Additional experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Familiarity with Cisco IOS, IP routing, long-haul transport, and NSA Type 1 crypto devices.
- A solid grasp on C4ISR operations and tactical networking.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills—plus the drive to lead and learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military C5ISR experience.
- Hands-on MQ-9 operations center networking knowledge.
- CCNA certification and/or Cisco coursework.
- IP Multicast, fiber/copper cabling standards, and TACLANE experience.
- Fluency with Juniper and Linux platforms.
