Everforth ECS is seeking a Network Administrator - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure to ensure DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services.
- Manage routing and switching configurations, ensuring alignment with approved baselines.
- Implement firmware and security updates in accordance with STIG and cybersecurity guidelines.
- Monitor device health and performance metrics, ensuring optimal network operation.
- Coordinate response activities for network outages and facilitate timely restoration.
- Ensure compliance with DoDIN operational directives and configuration management controls.
- Analyze network traffic to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance network security and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 441-Network Operations Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in administering and sustaining enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure within DoD or Federal environments.
- Proven experience supporting DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain routing and switching configurations and implement approved baselines.
- Experience in applying firmware and security updates in compliance with STIG guidance.
