We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NetSuite Technical Consultant to join our NetSuite practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NetSuite development and customization, with expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteTalk (Web Services), SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder. You will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to design and implement technical solutions within the NetSuite platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0), SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), and SuiteFlow.
- Design and implement workflows, custom records, scripts, dashboards, KPIs, and saved searches to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data migrations and integrations between NetSuite and external systems using RESTlets, web services, and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NetSuite customizations or integrations.
- Support NetSuite version upgrades and maintain compatibility of custom scripts.
- Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle: analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow change control processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite Technical activities
- Basic understanding of core Java (Apache camel will be an added advantage)
- Hands on script development experience using JavaScript and NetSuite requirements.
- Hands-on experience on the SuiteCloud development environment; Development of custom code using SuiteScript to meet business requirements.
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0 (or 1.0), JavaScript, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow & SuiteAnalytics, SuiteTalk and related web technologies
- Ability to author detailed design/specification documents capturing workflow processes, use cases, exception handling and test cases is a must.
- Experience with SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and third-party integration tools like Dell Boomi, Celigo
- Hands-on experience on NetSuite Integration with 3rd party applications.
- Familiarity with NetSuite sandbox and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability in Code debugging & troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ready to be on-call on a rotational basis.
- Flexible in working different shifts
Nice to Have:
- NetSuite Certification (SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, etc.).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBundler, or NetSuite Advanced PDF/HTML templates.
