Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining SuiteCommerce Advanced e-commerce websites, ensuring seamless integration with NetSuite ERP and third-party systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) modules and extensions.
- Work closely with stakeholders, designers, and back-end developers to implement and maintain front-end and back-end functionality in NetSuite SuiteCommerce Advanced.
- Customize and enhance SCA modules to meet evolving business requirements.
- Optimize site performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive behavior.
- Develop new features and integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, marketing platforms, analytics).
- Implement bug fixes and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner.
- Support version upgrades and deployments of SuiteCommerce Advanced.
- Collaborate with QA for testing and validating code changes before release.
- Maintain best practices for code versioning, testing, and deployment.
- Support Company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks
- Experience customizing and extending SCA modules and architecture.
- Familiarity with NetSuite's SuiteScript 2.0 (especially for integration and customization) and SuiteScript 1.0
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and integration best practices.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP workflows, records, and customizations is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with SuiteCommerce MyAccount.
- Understanding of NetSuite backend configuration: item records, inventory, order management.
- Performance optimization, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- NetSuite certifications are a plus.
