Job Title: NetSuite Functional Administrator
- Department: IT
- Location: Remote / Offshore
- Reports To: Deputy CIO
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, execution-focused NetSuite Technical Administrator to drive the development, configuration, and day-to-day optimization of our NetSuite ERP ecosystem. This is a strict "hands-on-keyboard" role requiring a candidate who can pivot seamlessly between writing production-ready SuiteScript, developing midmarket integrations, and resolving complex functional tickets.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in a SaaS environment, with a proven track record of building automated billing schedules, setting up payment/EFT gateways, and directly building and maintaining bi-directional integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite via Celigo.
Key Responsibilities
SuiteScript Development & System Customization
- Custom Code Deployment: Design, develop, test, and deploy production-ready SuiteScripts (Client, User Event, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, Restlets, and Workflow Action scripts) to automate business processes.
- Form & Workflow Engineering: Customize NetSuite forms, fields, subtabs, and custom records. Configure multi-level, role-based approval workflows with complex status transitions and automated email notifications.
- Release & Deployments: Manage code and configuration migrations across environments using the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and sandbox accounts.
- Documents & Templates: Design and develop Advanced PDF/HTML templates and custom email templates for multi-subsidiary invoices, statements, and forms, consolidating functional printouts into clean, uniform layouts.
Order-to-Cash (O2C) & SaaS Billing Automation
- SaaS Billing Architecture: Develop and automate recurring billing processes, standard/custom billing schedules, and usage-based billing workflows driven by external platform data.
- Payment & EFT Gateways: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot NetSuite payment instruments and integrations (e.g., Fortis, Stripe, or similar gateways). Investigate daily production payment failures, gateway declines, and validation errors.
- Electronic Payments: Own the EFT Payment SuiteApp setup. Configure bank formats, payment files, entity details, and handle Payment File Administration (PFA) error resolution.
Core Integrations (Salesforce & Celigo)
- Celigo Development: Directly develop, configure, and deploy bi-directional data integrations between Salesforce CRM and NetSuite utilizing Celigo (Integrator.io).
- Pipeline Monitoring & Optimization: Actively monitor integration flows, map data fields, write transformation rules, and debug sync errors to maintain absolute data integrity across systems.
Technical Support & Operations
- Ticket Queue Ownership: Own and resolve daily technical support tickets, diagnosing script failures, workflow bottlenecks, and transaction processing issues.
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Maintenance: Maintain the technical configurations supporting purchasing, vendor approvals, and automated 3-way matching.
- Data Hygiene: Minimize data entry errors by leveraging automated validation rules and executing clean data modifications via mass CSV imports.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration and development experience within a SaaS or recurring revenue business model.
- Technical Mastery: * Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0/2.x and native SuiteFlow.
- Direct experience developing and deploying integrations via Celigo (specifically Salesforce-to-NetSuite).
- Hands-on experience with the NetSuite EFT Payment SuiteApp and merchant payment gateways.
- Certifications (Preferred): NetSuite Certified Financial Associate, BI and Reporting Associate, or Administrator.
- Execution Style: A builder mindset. You thrive on technical execution, clean documentation, unit testing, and taking direct ownership of the system's operational heartbeat.
