Job Summary

The NetSuite Administrator should be an initiative-taking self-starter who likes working and staying current with the latest technologies and takes ownership of both projects and day-to-day responsibilities. The NetSuite Administrator will operate within the IT/Finance department, providing support, administration, and development for our NetSuite ERP system. This role is essential for ensuring that NetSuite functions smoothly and supports our business operations effectively. Key role will be maximizing the value and benefits of NetSuite to business. The successful candidate will be both functional and technical, with effective communication and analytical skills.

What You’ll Do

  • 20% - Administer and manage NetSuite ERP system, including configuration, user setup, roles, and permissions.
  • 15% - Develop and implement customizations, scripts, workflows, and reports to meet business needs using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.
  • 15% - Provide support and training to users to ensure effective use of NetSuite functionalities and develop custom solutions.
  • 15% - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into system enhancements and custom solutions.
  • 15% - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including managing support tickets with NetSuite or third-party vendors.
  • 10% - Maintain system documentation, including user guides, process flows, and training materials.
  • 10% - Ensure data integrity by performing regular data audits and implementing data management best practices.
  • 10% - Monitor system performance and proactively address any potential issues.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support NetSuite implementation project efforts and be liaison with NetSuite Support and implementors.
  • Responsible for NetSuite data management which includes master data governance and control.
  • Maintain user access, roles, security, profile and hierarchies.
  • Conduct end-user training, promote best practices and serve as subject matter expert on NetSuite
  • Manage new releases and update to NetSuite and effectively roll out new features working with implementor partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Support end-user requests for new saved searches, CSV imports, reports, KPI, fields, views, dashboard, and other objects.
  • Maintain and create workflows, functions and configurations within Netsuite
  • Manage, own and document all technical configurations involving NetSuite, including Boomi, Freewheel Bridge, APIs and all internal connectors and external integrations.

Who You Are

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience meeting and presenting to other team members.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with members of the team.
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance business processes.
  • Solid SQL database experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a record of achievement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator with hands-on development experience.
  • Proficient in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and other web technologies as they relate to NetSuite development.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite modules and functionality, including financials, CRM, inventory, and order management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven success and industry reputation in building partnerships across business and IT stakeholders to deliver positive results.
  • Strong work ethic with commitment to customer service to various stakeholders.
  • General Data Management knowledge and experience with SQL or other coding languages.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification (preferred but not required).

Salary Range

$150,000.00 - $180,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
