The New Equipment Training (NET) Trainer provides NET instruction in both formal classroom and field environments on assigned systems to Warfighter and customers in accordance with approved Program of Instruction (POI)s and training materials. This opportunity will be located at Fort Cavazos TX. The scope of work for these positions will evolve and transition throughout the lifecycle of the CPI2 program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides CPI2 NET instruction.
- Assists with the development and review of Training Support Package (TSP), Technical Manual (TM).
- Supports required Validation & Verification events, Logistic & Maintainability Demonstrations, Operational Tests, and specialty projects.
- Assists Command Post SME with the execution of an integrated collective validation exercises and events.
- Support Logistic & Maintainability Demonstrations, SYNC Conference, NMIB, New Equipment Training, New Equipment Fielding, VALEX and After-Action Reviews.
- Provides Command Post experience to the new equipment training and integration services for CPI2.
- Provides support to unit staff in the execution of CPI2 fielded systems in a System of System (SoS) environment.
- Assists the Command Post SME in employment of a variety of training approaches (i.e., traditional instructor-led classroom training, embedded training, integrated training, self-paced training, and over-the-shoulder unit-led training).
- Reviews and provides input into the development of the CPI2 Training Support Package
- Provides input and expertise with regards to CP integration processes as it relates to training.
- Provides over the shoulder training and support in support of CPI2 efforts.
- Will travel between 60% and up to 75%.
- Lifts and carries equipment upwards of 60lbs.
- Other duties as required/ needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 or more years experience or equivalent Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in lieu of degree and 4 or more years of hands on experience on related TN (formerly WIN-T) systems.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
- Required in-class room and over the shoulder training.
- Must have experience with Command Post Integration and Infrastructure (CPI2).
- Experience with editing and developing TM's.
- Command Post experience; including hands-on experience in Command Post integration, fielding, training, and logistics.
- Knowledge tactical power grid emplacement.

Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
