Job Description
We are seeking a .NET Solutions Architect with deep expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Azure. This is a senior, strategic, and hands-on role for someone who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, guiding both clients and internal teams to success.
The ideal candidate is not only a seasoned architect but also a clear communicator, pragmatic problem-solver, and someone who has successfully operated within a software services company environment. Experience juggling multiple clients, complex stakeholder needs, and fast-paced delivery expectations is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end software architectures using .NET and Azure that meet business and technical objectives.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and client stakeholders.
- Define and document architecture decisions, design patterns, integration strategies, and non-functional requirements.
- Lead architectural discussions with clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and constraints.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements in scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Guide teams on the application of best practices, cloud-native design, and DevOps integration.
- Participate in pre-sales conversations and technical discovery sessions as needed.
- Mentor developers and technical leads to elevate overall technical capability across the team.
Core Technical Skills Required
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and cloud-native solution design
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including but not limited to:
- App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus
- Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage
- Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, Managed Identities)
- Networking, monitoring, cost optimization, and security in Azure
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React) is a plus
- Strong architectural documentation and modeling skills (e.g., sequence diagrams, component diagrams)
Certifications
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required
Experience & Background
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated architecture role
- Must have prior experience working for a software services or consulting firm
- Experience working directly with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Proven success leading solution architecture for complex, distributed systems
- Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS systems, API ecosystems, and enterprise-scale integrations is a plus
