- Serve as an active contributor on an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, refinement, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with other technology teams to facilitate interfaces between OnBase and other systems.
- Ensure that solutions adhere to OnBase and Cigna best practices and leverage standard functionality where possible.
- Ensure developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable and adhere to security standards.
- Provide technical input into design decisions, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities early in the development lifecycle.
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, standards compliance, and alignment with best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for existing and new development, including technical designs, configurations, and support processes.
Ideally, you’ll have experience with:
- Proven experience of 5+ years in a role within software development with a strong technical focus on C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization and database design.
- Experience building and maintaining API-based integrations and REST/SOAP services
- You are eager to work on bespoke .NET components, as well as customize and configure imaging & workflow vendor platforms (OnBase).
- Prior experience working in an Agile development environment with knowledge of agile methodologies (such as SAFe).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Prior experience in the health insurance domain is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
