Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a talented and motivated Application Developer to join our team. As an Application Developer at ARETUM, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and systems for our clients.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally in an Agile environment to develop applications using .NET architecture with a focus on Entity Framework and EF Core.
- Must be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, juggle multiple tasks at once, and work independently and collaboratively as needed.
- Must have superior interpersonal skills and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Software development experience
- 3+ years of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET development experience
- 3+ years of RESTful web services experience
- 3+ years of experience with Entity Framework and EF Core
- Bachelor's Degree (3 years of additional experience acceptable in lieu of degree)
- Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core
- Experience with Visual Studio Ultimate 2017/2019/+, Azure DevOps, and Git
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful services and WCF
- Containerization experience on Windows servers with Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodology
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Cloud
- Experience Typescript, JavaScript, Angular v16 or higher
- Migration of on-premise .NET applications to Azure cloud
- Experience with MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Travel Requirements
This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
