We are looking for a .NET Developer to design and develop scalable, AI-driven applications and workflow solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, APIs, and enterprise application integration. This position will be full-time and Hybrid - Bengaluru.
What You’ll Do
- Application Development and Solution Delivery
- Architect, design, build, and maintain scalable applications using .NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Entity Framework Core with MS SQL Server
- Develop innovative solutions integrating Azure OpenAI Service, Claude 4.6 API (Opus/Sonnet), and AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications
- Implement Claude API and OpenAI Service for intelligent features including RAG systems, NLP processing, and context-aware responses
- Produce production-ready, well-tested code on AI integration patterns, React best practices, and .NET development standards
- Design and build business applications (in production/live not pilots) that solve concrete operational problems across Sensors and Transportation
- Collaborate with design teams to architect AI-enhanced solutions aligned with business requirements utilizing AWS cloud infrastructure
- Translate business requirements into application features, user flows, data models, forms, dashboards, workflows, and approval processes
- Create reusable application components, templates, patterns, and connectors where appropriate
- AI-Enabled Application Design
- Embed AI capabilities into business applications where they create measurable value
- Integrate AI services, agents, copilots, or model outputs into application workflows and user experiences
- Define how users interact with AI functionality inside the application, including prompts, result validation, feedback capture, escalation paths, and safe-use boundaries
- Build application patterns that combine structured data, workflow automation, and AI-assisted decisions
- Ensure AI output is explainable enough for the intended business process and include clear user controls where needed
- Work with data engineers and AI specialists to connect applications to approved data products, model endpoints, retrieval sources, or evaluation components Integration and API Development
- Design and build integration patterns across enterprise applications, data sources, and workflow platforms
- Define APIs, service interfaces, technical data flows, and integration contracts
- Build or coordinate connectors between Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, cloud services, internal APIs, and business platforms
- Ensure integrations are secure, observable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Own technical decisions for integration patterns, including synchronous APIs, workflow-based integration, event-driven flows, file-based exchange, and connector-based integrations
- Implement proper error handling, retry logic, monitoring, and escalation for critical integrations
- Software Engineering and Production Readiness
- Apply software engineering discipline to low-code and pro-code delivery
- Ensure applications include validation, error handling, logging, monitoring, test cases, documentation, and deployment controls
- Use environment separation for development, test, and production where required
- Support source control, release management, and structured deployment practices
- Define application support models, including runbooks, known-error handling, ownership handover, and support escalation
- Monitor application performance, availability, usage, quality issues, and user adoption
- Drive continuous improvement based on user feedback, incidents, defects, and changing business needs Security, Privacy, and Compliance by Design
- Apply least-privilege access, role-based security, and proper data handling in all applications
- Ensure Power Apps and workflow solutions follow internal security, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Translate compliance requirements into technical controls, including access restrictions, data retention, auditability, approval logs, and data classification
- Work with security, identity, network, and platform teams to validate secure integration patterns
- Ensure sensitive data is not exposed through application screens, connectors, workflow logs, notifications, or unmanaged exports
- Document key data paths, access points, and technical controls for production applications
What You'll Need
Required:
- BE / BTech with 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience OR bachelor's with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of .NET 6/7/8 frameworks, C# 10-12 language features, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core
- Expertise in MS SQL Server database design, T-SQL programming, query optimization, and indexing strategies
- Experienced using MS PowerApps
- Demonstrated experience developing production-grade AI-enhanced web applications using .NET 6/7/8 and React
- Proven track record with .NET Core 3.x / .NET 5/6/7/8 for building scalable enterprise applications and RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS cloud platform
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server database development including schema design, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning
- Practical experience integrating Claude 4.6 API (Anthropic) or Azure OpenAI Service into .NET applications with production deployment
- API development expertise using schema-first approach, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and API versioning strategies
- Experienced in GitHub for source control and automated deployment workflows
- Strong knowledge of Power Automate for workflow automation, approvals, notifications, and business process orchestration.
