Job Description

Within the IT Risk, development team made up of 7 developers, the aim is to extend the existing IT PROX team in Paris to Porto. 

The consultant will work closely with Paris and Porto risk analysts and dev team for business specification, implementation, documentation, deployment of the solution. The developer will handle business needs from risk analysts, that can’t be handled by Legacy IT within tight schedule and using a wide variety of technologies. 

In addition, the developer will support IT PROX tools in a .Net framework in collaboration with the team.  

Qualifications

Main Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Implement user needs and test them.  
  • Produce technical documentation. 
  • Support end users. 
  • Evolutive maintenance of mature applications. 
  • Ticket Tracking with Jira.  

Profile Requirements: 

  • Fluency in English – mandatory. French will be appreciated.  
  • Strong communication skills and good resistance to stress – mandatory 
  • Self-directed learner, capable of working autonomously. 
  • Ability to analyze business requests and translate it to specification. 
  • Knowledge in financial product and Risk management is highly valued.  
  • Experience in banking is highly appreciated. 

Technical Requirements: 

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar 
  • ~3-6 years of experience as a full-stack .Net Developer 
  • Good knowledge of C#.Net (core 6.0) and entity framework (optional) 
  • Experience with scripted languages: Excel and Access VBA  
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) 
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.  
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
