🧭 Navigating the position:  .NET Developer
OneOcean is seeking a .NET Developer to help build, maintain, and enhance its maritime software. This role focuses on developing reliable, high‑performance applications used in mission‑critical maritime environments. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to design, implement, and deliver new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure the overall quality of the platform. Your work will directly contribute to safe, efficient, and effective maritime operations for users worldwide.

🚢 Your Voyage Ahead:
Application Support:
  •  Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application issues using .NET where necessary across multiple environments to ensure system.
  •  Assist with deployments, upgrades, and releases, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  •  Contribute to fixes and minor enhancements by reviewing, updating, testing, and documenting code where required.
Continuous Improvement:
  •  Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and best practices in .NET development.
  •  Continuously improve the codebase, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
  •  Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.
Testing and Documentation:
  •  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for bugs and support solutions.
  •  Develop and implement unit and functional tests to ensure code quality.
  •  Assist in defining test scenarios and in testing the developed functionality.


🚢 Recommended to bring on board: 
  • 3+ years in commercial development.
  • Intermediate experience in .NET Framework/Core, WPF, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET , MVVC, DI/IoC.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSql (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • A keen eye and good investigation skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, detail-oriented, and analytical skills.
