The Negotiations Manager will lead a team of skilled negotiators in securing favorable settlements with creditors on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of the debt settlement industry, and a proven track record in negotiations. This role requires excellent communication, strategic thinking, and a client-focused approach to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.

JOB TITLE: Negotiations Manager

OUR HOME: Alleviate has a 30,000 Sq foot headquarters based out of Irvine, CA. Our headquarters is located in the heart of Orange County’s booming business and finance district. Our state-of-the-art office has 2 designer living rooms, 2 cafes, a meditation room, fully equipped workstations, and a free fitness center. COMPENSATION:

  • $75,000 - $90,000

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develops and manages the quality, performance and productivity of the Negotiations Department. 

  • Manages all positions in department; monitor and enhance staff and key performance metrics

  • Develops, updates, enhances and maintains department standards, policies and procedures 

  • Develops, implements, and improves processes

  • Assists staff with complex issues 

  • Resolve escalated and unresolved issues 

  • Monitors and evaluate the quality of inbound and outbound telephone calls to creditors

  • Coaches, trains, and develops staff. Assign work, set completion dates, review work, and manage performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes 

  • Provides high quality, personable, friendly and professional interaction with all levels in and outside of Alleviate 

  • Problem solve situations and find solutions in the best interest of the client and company 

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent of work experience acceptable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the debt settlement industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong understanding of call center and customer service metrics 

  • Cloud phone system & CRM experience 

  • Problem Solving Skills 

  • Time Management and Multitasking 

  • Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees and evaluate their performance 

  • Must work well in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, and good at dealing with constant change

Job Type: Full-time 

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday 
Location: Irvine, CA - 5 days per week in office
