Job Role : CPQ Architect

Application Architect: Responsible for successful completion of technology projects within area of responsibility. Specializes in application or technical architecture. Responsible for supervising deliverable development. Instill commitment to quality, customer service, ownership, and teamwork. Define and manage team structure and resource levels to support business needs of application area. 

Functional Architect: Provides functional architecture expertise, in a specific technology area, based on years of extensive hands-on experience. Ability to provide tactical strategies that can meet both current needs, but also have the flexibility to scale and adapt to future business requirements. Plans and manages the high-level architecture strategy and design work for complex initiatives Maintains a network with architects at the technology vendors to provide the latest thinking around industry trends and best practices.

 Role Description: The CPQ Architect is responsible for providing overall guidance regarding strategies and techniques for the CPQ product solutions. The CPQ Architect will interact with business proxies, client enterprise architects, vendor technical representatives, and the CPQ program, design, development, test, and product teams. The CPQ Architect is responsible for coordinating with the CPQ Platform Architect and development team to document and ensure product solutions support business needs, follow strong architectural principles, use system resources efficiently, and integrate cleanly with the user interface and server components of the CPQ application and technical architecture. The CPQ Architect will collaborate with offshore developers to deliver product enhancements and product definitions in an agile delivery model.
