An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fluorescent Dye (NDT) Inspector to join the Defence Manufacturing operations business based in Bristol. You will work as part of an integrated team manufacturing and delivering aerospace components in line with customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities
- Ability to prioritise workload in line with the customers’ requirements.
- Interpretation and evaluation of indications.
- Completing inspection documentation as necessary including raising failed inspection and correction documentation operation of the Shop Floor Data Manager work booking system.
- Recording work details and non-conformance, checking efficiency of the process.
- Work to the relevant Rolls-Royce Quality & Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
- Undertake basic housekeeping tasks, including 5s activity. Involvement in Process Improvement activity.
- The successful applicant must be prepared to work shift patterns that may include nightshifts.
Requirements
- Good organising skills essential.
- Good written communication skills.
- Computer literate as you will be required to use various software applications.
- Team player with the energy and drive to succeed
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Customer, Quality and Delivery focused
Preferred (but not essential) qualifications
- Level 2 Fluorescent Dye Penetrant Inspector
- Aerospace experience in other Non-Destructive Testing Techniques
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
