• Processing and inspection of parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions.
• Set-up, operate, calibrate and perform inspections on NDT equipment by following established instructions and record results.
• Interpret, evaluate and report evaluation results as required and outlined.
• Fill out required logs and statistical data sheets as required.
• Maintain required job skills and knowledge of requirements (including procedures, specifications, etc.)
• Maintain work area, equipment, and 5´s to be ready for audits at all times.
• Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) to Level 1 NDT Inspectors and others Level 2 NDT Inspectors
• Adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) and Internal RegulationsJob Description
• Minimum 1 year experience in non-destructive testing field
• Have documented hours for Training, & Experience per NAS-410 in Eddy Current Testing as Level 2:
o Minimum 80 hrs classroom training (including 40 h for Level 1)
o Minimum 800 hrs On the Job Training (OJT)
• Aerospace or aviation experience strongly desired
• Experience in the interpretation of flaws in rotative aircraft engine parts
• Qualifications and experience in Penetrant Testing, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic Testing. Desirable to hold current or previous certifications
