The nCino Business Systems Analyst will support the Bank’s Digital Transformation initiative and nCino Application.  This Business Systems Analyst role will be a member of a team executing strategic initiatives that will transform the way WSFS Bank implements and services credit. The incumbent will participate in the strategy and design covering end-to-end data integration, data analytics and insights, and/or data automation. The overall design also includes required testing and controls and related components. The Analyst will act as a chief point of contact and liaison with the Product Owner for technology initiatives following Agile methodologies and be directly responsible for assessing change, analyzing impacts, recommending business solutions, devising test strategies, and documenting outcomes. The Analyst will partner closely with business and process SMEs, data managers, and technology teams to implement solutions.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide application support and integration, report development, process improvements and recommendations primarily for the nCino software system within all facets of the Commercial/Retail banking environment, including Treasury Management and Capital Market departments.
  • Bridge the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders
  • Act as liaison between the end-user communities and the Application Product Owner and Product Strategy Lead to determine business line priorities, identify gaps, and define and translate business and technical requirements for assigned projects and job requests to meet changing needs and requirements of Salesforce and nCino utilization. 
  • Assist the varying departments within Commercial/Retail (Commercial, Small Business, SBA, Treasury, Capital Markets, Risk) Banking working towards full digitization of processes and procedures for both Operations and Sales along multiple software and application channels by identifying workflow inefficiencies, providing technical solutions, and making workflows more digital and efficient.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards and processes to continuously improve productivity.
  • Research/investigate underutilized nCino features and coordinating with the business line to determine the business need for any new functionality or feature.
  • Develop detailed business requirements documents, create use cases, complete technical support documentation and user guides, update training guides and tools, and assist with classroom training of end users.
  • Work with users daily to provide functional and administrative support as well as technical troubleshooting assistance (user support). 
  • Participate in system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. 
  • Work with the business line to develop and maintain test scripts as well as testing enhancements, fixes, and releases for nCino and any other applications that apply.
  • Assist and communicate the timeline to Business Lines of associated defect resolution, product enhancement, releases, etc. via proper reporting and communication.
  • Determine training needs and assist in any classroom training as a key participant.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related technical discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and experience as a technical business systems administrator or analyst.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a business systems analyst in the Banking or financial services industry or related industry experience in credit underwriting, credit products, credit risk or banking finance is required.
  • 2+ years experience with nCino application or similar loan origination systems.
  • 2+ years experience with Salesforce application.
  • Understanding of standard technology delivery practices.
  • Demonstrated understanding of major banking principles, processes, and technologies with experience modifying banking applications. 
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement, data flow design, and creating user-guides.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for creativity and complex problem-solving, developing approaches to solve problems; formalizing plans to address issues.
  • Experience working with data to perform analysis and propose process or technology changes.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing test plans and test scripts
  • Working knowledge with all Microsoft Office tools.
  • Displays effective and professional written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for creativity and complex problem-solving, developing approaches to solve problems; formalizing plans to address issues.
  • Desire to learn, grow and constantly face new challenges.
  • Ability to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint in the Greater Philadelphia region as needed.

Salary Range:

$75,502.00 - $124,039.00

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
