Native React Mobile APP Developer

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms. You will translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, native-feeling experiences, bridge React Native code with native mobile SDKs, and take ownership of app deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

• App Architecture & Development: Architect and build cross-platform mobile apps using React Native, TypeScript, and modern state-management patterns.Native Integration: Write, link, and maintain custom native modules and bridging layers using Swift/Objective-C (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android) where third-party packages fall short. 
• Performance Optimization: Diagnose and fix memory leaks, reduce bundle size, handle threading/animations (e.g., Reanimated), and ensure 60fps native performance. 
• API & Device Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs, offline storage, push notifications, and device sensors (camera, biometrics, GPS, Bluetooth). 
• ​Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, QA Engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop and deliver new application features and enhancements.  
• Develop clean, reusable and maintainable code by implementing MVVM, Clean Architecture, Android and IOS components, dependency injections and established design patterns.  
• Integrate RESTful APIs, sockets, and third-party SDKs while ensuring secure, reliable and efficient communication between mobile applications and backend services.  
• Optimize application performance, memory utilization, battery consumption and overall user experience by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, crashes, ANRs and stability issues. 
• ​Implement automated unit testing, UI testing, code reviews, and continuous quality improvement practices to ensure reliable and maintainable software releases.  

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in Android application development.

• ​Proven experience developing and maintaining enterprise-grade Native React applications. 

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development environments preferred.

• Google Android Developer certification or equivalent mobile development certifications are considered an advantage.

Skills and Ability:

• Strong command of TypeScript / modern JavaScript (ES6+), React component lifecycle, and hooks. 

• ​Familiarity with iOS and Android platform-specific tooling: Xcode, Android Studio, CocoaPods, and Gradle. 

• ​Solid understanding of state management tools (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query). 

• ​Demonstrated experience publishing and maintaining live apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. 

• ​ In-depth understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design principles. 

• ​Hands-on native iOS (Swift) or native Android (Kotlin) development experience. 

• ​Experience with the React Native New Architecture (TurboModules, Fabric, JSI). 

• ​Exposure to monorepos (Turborepo, Nx) or cross-platform code-sharing (e.g., React Native for Web, Expo Config Plugins). 

• ​Familiarity with mobile crash monitoring and analytics tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Datadog). 

• ​Experience with Git and Git-based development workflows. 

• ​ working knowledge of Android Studio and Gradle. 

• ​Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. 

• ​Ability to analyze technical issues and implement scalable solutions. 

• ​Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills. 

• ​Ability to work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams.​ 

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands: 

• This is an in office role in Chennai and requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
• The role requires frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, mobile devices, keyboards and communication tools.
• The employee must be able to communicate effectively through video conferencing, telephone and electronic communication platforms
