Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow client relationships through consistent communication and proactive account management
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities via inside and outside sales efforts
- Develop and present customized solutions to meet clients’ shipping and logistics needs
- Drive revenue growth by closing new business and expanding existing accounts
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both externally and internally
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure client success and operational alignment
Required
- 4+ years of direct sales and business development experience within the logistics industry
- Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business (minimum $25,000/month in profit)
- Experience working in a commission-based environment (draw preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven with a strong sense of initiative
- Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Established industry relationships and a consultative approach to solving client problems
- Willingness & ability to work a hybrid schedule based out of Dallas, TX
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
