About the role
Responsible for leading the commercial strategy and sales team across the national territory, ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share goals. Operates with an analytical and strategic mindset, connecting planning and execution with a focus on sustainable results, development of high-performance teams, and excellence in relationships with key clients in both public and private sectors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and develop the national team of regional managers and sales representatives, ensuring high performance, engagement, and alignment with corporate goals.
Plan and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), translating business strategies into tangible and measurable commercial initiatives.
Monitor commercial performance indicators (sell-in, sell-out, margin, coverage, forecast accuracy, profitability, and compliance) analytically, proposing corrective and preventive actions.
Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic clients — including hospital networks, health insurers, distributors, and public institutions — ensuring excellence in negotiation and execution.
Ensure strong presence in both public and private channels, with deep understanding of purchasing dynamics, bidding processes, and commercial policies of each segment.
Operate with in-depth knowledge of the medical device distributor market, developing sustainable partnerships and ensuring product coverage and availability.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Market Access, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to ensure integrated execution of strategies.
Anticipate market trends and propose initiatives for commercial expansion, innovation, and competitiveness.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory standards, and the organization’s ethical guidelines.

Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields.
MBA or Postgraduate degree in Commercial Management, Strategy, or Leadership (preferred).
Strong experience in commercial leadership roles within multinational companies, preferably in the medical devices, pharmaceutical, or hospital sectors.
Fluent English (mandatory).
Strong analytical and strategic skills, with mastery of commercial management indicators and tools.
Proven experience in people management and leadership of national teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively in matrix environments.
Advanced knowledge of the public market (bidding processes, DGAC, municipalities, states, Ministry of Health) and private market (hospital networks, insurers, and clinics).
Deep experience in managing and developing medical device distributors.
Availability for frequent travel.
