Success in this role requires exceptional organizational discipline, communication skills, critical thinking, and sound judgment, paired with a genuine enthusiasm for FN products and the broader shooting sports market. You will work closely with senior leadership, the Firearms Product Team, and an independently contracted sales force to design and execute sales strategies that drive sustainable growth and strengthen FN’s market position.

This role plays a critical part in shaping how FN engages the trade—building trust, navigating complex relationships, and converting challenges into long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Sales Forecasting & Performance Management: Create, manage, and refine monthly and annual sales forecasts at the territory and key-account level, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Program & Strategy Development: Design and execute category-specific sales programs and cooperative merchandising    initiatives in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Firearms Product leadership.

  • Long-Range Planning & Strategic Thinking: Develop long-term sales plans and assess the broader implications of major decisions, while challenging peers and partners to think strategically and holistically.
  • Market & Consumer Insight: Stay current on relevant market trends and customer behavior, providing forward-looking feedback that supports strategic direction, forecasting, and product planning.
  • Results Orientation: Champion a performance-focused culture by cutting through ambiguity, prioritizing impactful work, and realigning efforts to ensure results remain front and center.
  • Travel & Field Engagement: Travel to support sales calls, trade shows, work alongside independent representatives, and engage directly with key accounts and distributors.

  • Gunsmithing, firearms design, or technical product experience is a strong plus.
