Job Scope:
The National Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and growing Allegion’s strategic partnerships with key Systems Companies, OEM Manufacturers, Fabricators, Distributors, and Joiners across Australia. This national role focuses on converting high‑value relationships into long‑term business partnerships built on shared growth, mutual commercial benefit, aligned incentives, and joint strategic planning.
The position plays a central role in enabling Allegion and its OEM partners to mutually grow through customer Long Term Incentive (LTI) plans, product alignment, technical support, and coordinated channel development. This role influences the broader OEM sales team through coaching and strategic alignment, without direct line management responsibility and ensures national consistency in partnership execution.
Additionally, the National Partnerships Manager has oversight of Target Customer Engagement Events nationally, ensuring events and customer experiences reinforce Allegion’s value proposition, support joint growth, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Growth
- Develop, manage, and grow national partnerships with Systems Companies, Fabricators, Distributors, Joiners, and OEM Manufacturers.
- Build long‑term, mutually beneficial relationships underpinned by partnership growth agreements.
- Deliver national joint business plans that drive increased product adoption, brand loyalty, and market penetration.
- Work with Allegion Residential and Commercial sales teams to identify cross channel growth opportunities and aligned commercial outcomes.
National Customer Engagement & Event Oversight
- Oversee all Target Customer Engagement Events nationally.
- Approve events, customer lists, concepts, and budgets to ensure alignment with Allegion’s OEM strategy.
- Collaborate with the OEM Channel Marketing Manager to ensure events enhance customer advocacy and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Customer LTI (Long Term Incentive) Management
- Manage and maintain oversight of customer LTI plans for key Systems Companies, Fabricators, Distributors, Joiners, and OEM Manufacturers.
- Work collaboratively with partners to create, refine, and track LTI programs aligned to joint growth targets.
- Ensure LTI structures support long-term, sustainable partnership outcomes.
Strategic Cascading & Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate with the National Sales Manager, National BDM, and OEM Channel Marketing Manager to cascade national strategic priorities.
- Influence and coach the OEM Account Managers and BDMs to ensure consistent national execution of partnership strategies.
- Support OEM Account Managers and BDMs with coaching, strategic insights, and partnership development guidance.
- Understands the national OEM strategic direction and supports the sales team by translating the strategy into clear, practical customer‑level actions.
Commercial & Market Execution
- Drive commercial programs and initiatives with Systems Companies, OEM Manufacturers, Fabricators, Distributors, and Joiners.
- Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, training effectiveness, and partner alignment.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide market insights to inform strategy.
Safety:
- Ensure all reasonably practicable steps are taken to provide a safe and healthy workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct regular hazard and risk assessments and ensure appropriate training and supervision are provided.
- Promote awareness and compliance with safety responsibilities among all team members.
- Adhere to company safety policies, injury management, and Return to Work programs.
