About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Emerging Technology Lead to identify, evaluate and implement technologies that improve business performance, enhance client outcomes and support our national operations.

This is a unique opportunity to lead technology initiatives from concept through to implementation, working across multiple business functions to deliver practical, scalable solutions. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on project delivery, helping shape how technology supports the future of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the research, evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies across the organisation.

  • Manage technology projects from planning through to successful delivery, ensuring milestones, budgets and timelines are achieved.

  • Oversee and support enterprise technology solutions, ensuring reliability, performance and ongoing optimisation.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and implement technology improvements that create business value.

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop technology solutions.

  • Build strong partnerships with external technology vendors and service providers.

  • Deliver training, documentation and knowledge sharing to support successful technology adoption.

About You

  • Experience leading enterprise technology or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Strong technical knowledge across modern business technologies and software solutions.

  • Demonstrated project management experience delivering technology projects.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving ability.

  • Experience leading change and supporting technology adoption.

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • A passion for innovation and continuous learning.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

  • Full Australian working rights, and willing to undergo a National police check and other pre-employment checks
