JOB SUMMARY:
As the National Accounts Manager, you will bring your PPE and/or workwear sales experience to develop and manage the strategic National Accounts across the USA. As National Accounts Manager you will identify, service, manage, retain and grow Portwest's National Accounts, who are a key driver of growth. You should be able to work well alone, design, implement and lead projects and collaborate with multiple members of the sales team as well as the Regional Sales Manager to continue to build upon the company’s success in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and develop key / National Accounts across the USA.
  • Negotiate commercial frameworks and agreements with National Accounts in conjunction with the commercial team and Sales Director.
  • Attract, retain and grow business with Portwest’s National Accounts
  • Create playbooks for National Accounts to be shared with sales team and plot specific growth paths per region.
  • Work closely & Coordinate with the sales team to deliver projects for our NA.
  • Oversee deliverance of projects from Area Sales Managers to Customers.
  • Visit National Account shows, events, and drive visibility of the Portwest brand.
  • Analyse sales and KPI reports and give trainings to Portwest and NA sales teams.
  • Meet sales targets as agreed with HQ / Sales Director

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record of opening and developing key accounts / national accounts across the USA.
  • Deep understanding of the workwear / Uniform / PPE / safety industry in the USA.
  • Willingness to travel to KY for trainings and across the USA for customer meetings and conferences / events.
  • History of working with diverse sales group and delivering guidance on how to work with specific accounts and opportunities.
  • Evidence of sales growth and development of accounts at national and local level.
  • The ability to negotiate contracts and commercial terms at C &D level.
