  • Define and execute the overarching national accounts strategy, including segmentation, coverage models, and growth priorities.

  • Oversee the development and execution of tailored account plans for top-tier agency groups to maximize distribution, shelf space, and market share.

  • Drive premium growth, agent engagement, and retention across key enterprise partners.

  • Ensure consistency and scalability in how national accounts are managed across the organization.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior relationship owner and escalation point for the most strategic agency partners and enterprise relationships.

  • Engage directly with C-level executives and senior leadership within partner organizations.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to agency leadership, identifying opportunities for operational improvement, product expansion, and long-term partnership growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with underwriting, product, marketing, operations, and technology teams to align enterprise account needs with internal capabilities.

  • Advocate for national account priorities internally and ensure timely execution of partner-facing initiatives.

  • Influence product roadmap, underwriting strategy, and operational enhancements based on partner feedback and market insights.

Performance Management & Analytics

  • Own national account performance reporting, including premium growth, profitability, retention, and engagement metrics.

  • Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the portfolio.

  • Provide executive-level updates and recommendations to senior leadership on national account performance and strategy.

Market & Industry Leadership

  • 15+ years of experience in insurance distribution, sales leadership, or national account management, with deep exposure to independent agents, aggregators, franchises, or large agency networks.

  • Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing account management or sales teams and experience leading multifaceted cross-functional teams and driving successful business results.

  • Working knowledge of custom API integrations, with experience collaborating closely with internal engineering and technology teams to support enterprise partner needs, integrations, and scalable distribution solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to increase National Account Manager effectiveness in insurance net-new enterprise pursuits (e.g., targeting and researching large carriers/brokers, drafting outreach and executive-ready messaging, synthesizing discovery notes and stakeholder themes, supporting RFP/RFI and compliance/security questionnaire responses, and analyzing territory, pipeline, and win/loss data) while applying sound judgment, protecting confidentiality, and following data privacy and acceptable-use guidelines.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with evolving processes, where decisions and iteration cycles move quickly; also has experience partnering effectively with leaders in large-scale, established organizations with mature processes and multiple stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex enterprise relationships and delivering sustained premium growth.

  • Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, underwriting dynamics, and distribution models.

  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Highly analytical and comfortable using data, KPIs, and dashboards to drive decisions.
