The National Account Manager (NAM) for Walmart eCommerce executes Red Bull’s online strategies across Walmart’s pickup and delivery platforms. This role is responsible for bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to the account management of a fast-growing, strategic customer. Your mission is to ensure Red Bull is the #1 choice for digital shoppers by mastering search, availability, and innovative digital programming. The role will partner closely with internal teams, including Brick & Mortar Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, to achieve success.
Job DescriptionStrategic Business Planning and Execution
Execute short- and long-term strategies and activities that deliver Red Bull’s and Walmart’s online objectives.
Allocate resources to areas where investment provides the highest strategic return.
Partner with Red Bull Key Account, Advertising, and Retail Marketing teams to influence eCommerce priorities across Walmart.
Manage the online programming calendar, including pricing and promotions, while driving onsite visibility, volume planning, and trade spend management.
Partner with Walmart Connect to deploy high-impact advertising investments while ensuring a strong return on ad spend (ROAS).
Collaboratively develop and execute annual joint business plans that outpace category growth.
Actively develop and maintain relationships with Walmart Buying, Instock, and Site Merchandising teams.
Work closely with demand planning and supply teams to manage Walmart’s fulfillment models and prevent out-of-stock issues.
Establish Category Leadership
Improve online execution on Walmart.com and in the Walmart app by collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure best-in-class content, copy, media, and imagery.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop category and shopper insights for the eCommerce beverage and energy drink categories to support online execution.
Identify and share best practices to reach new online shoppers and bring the Red Bull brand to life across online customer touchpoints.
Business Reviews and Reporting
Own eCommerce sales and market share reporting to measure the impact of initiatives on performance.
Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate progress against sales and financial targets and provide competitive analysis.
Lead post-campaign analysis following all promotions and visibility campaigns to assess effectiveness and optimize future investment opportunities.
Provide energy category insights that influence merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies to achieve business targets.
Proactively share examples of Red Bull marketing activities to differentiate the brand from competitors.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Work with Red Bull Key Account teams to strengthen eCommerce knowledge and ensure business plan objectives align with Red Bull eCommerce and Key Account strategies.
Manage cross-functional workstreams to deliver unique solutions in close partnership with key stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, Retail Marketing, Shopper Insights, and Advertising.
Build upon the eCommerce learning agenda by leveraging new customer account capabilities and data to identify future revenue and brand marketing opportunities.
Use appropriate communication processes to keep distribution partners informed of relevant eCommerce programs and initiatives
QualificationsEXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & EDUCATION (IF APPLICABLE) REQUIRED
8 years eCommerce account management experience preferably with experience leading strategic planning across teams and Brick & Click
Experience in beverage, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industries preferred
Experience working with Digital Advertising Agencies
Ability to demonstrate solid “peer leadership/influence”
Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources
Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and active listening skills
Advanced strategic thinking, planning, financial management, decision-making, sales presentation, & negotiation skills

Additional InformationThis position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $124,000 – $186,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
