JOB SUMMARY:

As the National Accounts Manager, you will bring your PPE and/or workwear sales experience to manage the Large Strategic National Accounts in the UK. As National Accounts Manager you will service, manage, retain and grow Portwest's National Accounts who are a key driver of growth. You should be able to work well alone, design, implement and lead projects and collaborate with multiple members of the sales team as well as the Regional Sales Manager to continue to build upon the company’s success in the region.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Portwest's National Accounts
  • Identify opportunities to expand and grow sales with our National Accounts
  • Attract, retain and grow Portwest's National Accounts
  • Create projects based on customer expectations
  • Work closely & coordinate with the sales team to deliver projects for our National Accounts
  • Oversee deliverance of projects from Area Sales Managers to Customers
  • Work closely with the RSM / Sales Director to deliver value for our National Accounts
  • This is a National role, so travel will be required frequently
  • Analyse sales and KPI reports and recommend how the sales team can adjust to increase sales
  • Meet sales targets as agreed with HQ / Sales Director

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 5+ years PPE, workwear or safety wear sales experience is preferred
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with a strategic mindset
