The Role: National Account Manager

As we continue to write our story, we're looking for a National Account Manager to spearhead strategic partnerships with industry giants like Target and Costco. In this pivotal role, you will drive innovation across our diverse product mix, which includes everything from garden tools to crafting essentials. Your mission is clear: to infuse creativity and curiosity into our partnerships, ensuring that our products don't just meet but exceed consumer expectations.

This position is a full-time, and is a hybrid role (combination of in-office + remote) and reports to Amanda Eastman - Sales Director of Mass, Club, Craft and Grocery Channels.

What You'll Do:

  • Leverage your Target and Costco expertise to generate profitable business, deeply understanding customer challenges, priorities, and needs
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans to achieve sales targets while maximizing profitability
  • Analyze sales data and provide accurate forecasting to ensure operational efficiency and high levels of service
  • Work closely with marketing and NPD teams to create comprehensive sales plans and proposals that drive profitable sales for key customers and rep groups
  • Ensure effective resource management, strengthening relationships with key customers and rep groups
  • Market leadership by creating awareness and developing sales opportunities, ensuring Fiskars is viewed as a market leader and a desired partner
  • Travel to engage directly with customers and industry stakeholders, paving the way for new opportunities and growth (approx. 25%-50% first year)
  • Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to understand and address customer challenges, priorities, and needs
  • Proficient in planning and analytical reasoning
  • Proven business acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets for key accounts

Who we are looking for:

  • A consumer-focused sales professional with 5-7 years of progressive selling experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) with major retail accounts + Bachelors degree (desired)
  • Well-versed in account management, preferably Target and Costco
  • A curiosity-infused approach and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage existing and new accounts + expertise to generate profitable business, deeply understanding customer challenges, priorities, and needs
