Summary Description

This position will be responsible for executing the customer sales initiatives while managing business within Key Regional Account (Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply, Farm and Garden, etc. It is charged with developing strategic partnerships with the channel, delivering financial and fiscal growth for our brands, supporting the brand strategy agenda with the customer, leveraging consumer insights to optimize growth, and supporting the analysis of relevant key performance indicators.

What will your day look like?

  • Develop plans for the channel while delivering financial expectations, brand vision, and corporate financial goals 
  • Collaborates with Operations and Brand teams to develop strategies and execute customer specific programs to drive sales and share growth through positive outcomes supporting financial targets for each brand - Gorilla and O’Keeffe’s.
  • Analyze performance data to ensure they drive brand goals and maintain a strong ROI.
  • Working competitive product and price strategies to generate new business and expand current sales
  • Responsible for tracking and planning documents that support forecasting and delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Networks with knowledge Merchandising Team at key accounts to build brand advocacy and generate leads along with new business ideas.
  • Establishes a weekly, monthly and quarterly schedule to collect and analyze data that can drive Gorilla to meet and exceed performance plans to include: Retail Price Shops, Store Walk Recaps, Updated Planogram Summaries, etc.
  • Will be responsible for analyzing, and provide POS and business insights to increase sales productivity, support forecast process and assist in business planning.
  • Establish and manage best-in-class product presentation standards to be utilized across all marketing campaigns.
  • Periodic travel might be required.
Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; 5+ years of leadership experience specifical to the Rural Accounts
  • Risk Management: Anticipate risks and identify contingency plans and processes to prevent disruptions when risks occur 
  • Relationship Management: Able to establish and maintain key relationships with cross-functional partners both internally and externally 
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results 
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions 
  • Planning & Priority Setting: Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals 
  • Systems and Tools Acumen: Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Communication: Clear, persuasive communicator (written and verbal) including active listening ability, fact-based selling and presentation skills 
  • Negotiating: Skilled at influencing to achieve desired outcomes (both internally and externally)
