Directly manage the sales process for national customer. This role may include the supervision and guidance of a Broker, ensuring that all CHD goals and objectives are effectively executed and achieved.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to deliver business objectives
- Attainment of annual sales, trade-spending, and profit goals
- Identify opportunities for profitable growth within existing account and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Ability to analyze Syndicated and consumption data to help deliver overall goals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments
- Oversight of Broker Partner to achieve Church & Dwight strategic goals by providing leadership, direction and support to deliver objectives
- Responsible for overall financial management (Siebel, Trade Spend, Deductions, Slotting, SG&A)
- Build relationships at senior levels in key customers to maximize CHD results
- Ability to lead and collaborate with internal sales, marketing, RGM, and finance functions
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Must have a minimum 4-6 years of experience selling within CPG industry
- Experience managing broker network preferred
- Experience managing CVS preferred
- Experience managing broker network preferred
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Syndicated Data, Trade Promotion Management
- Position requires individual to have a thorough understanding of business financials and experience presenting to executive level personnel within their own company and at top Retailers.
