Job Description
The National Account Manager will be responsible for a specified market and is uniquely positioned for an ambitious leader who is craving full ownership and accountability for our products and customers within the assigned Accounts. This is not a traditional sales role. We are searching for a candidate who shows a high level of ownership for their business and is adept at selling solutions and has a proven ability to win new business. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to be a leader, influencer and activator with internal and external key stakeholders from the first day on the job.
Primary Responsibilities
- Liaison to the customer and Kraft Heinz Sales organization.
- Tailors programs consistent with customer's strategy that deliver superior results and aligns with the business sectors' expectations.
- A bias toward action with an Entrepreneurial mentality, who can make and own decisions and embraces our "culture" of grit, action and perseverance.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrated by effective presentation, influence, and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen to impact P&L management.
- Think creatively and critically, can learn new concepts and seeks to resolve complex problems.
- Develops, tracks, analyzes, and evaluates insightful business plans based on AFH priorities, customer strategies/initiatives and external factors to build total customer profit.
- Builds Kraft Heinz business with customer measured by profitability achievement, share gains, revenue targets, EBITA, Customer P&L, new and core item introductions/distribution.
- Communicates and influence implementation of business plans to enable superior execution across vital team members (i.e. Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Legal, Marketing, R&D). .
- Drives efficient and effective trade programs to deliver best return on investment.
- Challenge both Kraft Heinz teams as well as external teams to drive creative ideas that capitalize on business opportunities.
- Joint Business Planning with strategic customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prior sales experience required with a demonstration of major account management resulting in profitable volume, customer penetration, attainment of new business and growth.
- Experience in national accounts sales, restaurant, culinary, and/or distributor industry preferred.
- Command of business acumen and strong business intuition demonstrated by discernment that not every sales opportunity is equal and a track record of securing profitable volume and walking away from less profitable deals.
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous experience utilizing systems for tracking and recording sales, effective business planning and data-driven strategy for maintaining current and securing new customers.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrated by effective presentation, influence, and advanced negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Overnight Travel is required, and the amount varies by territory.
- Ability to have a direct report for support with key account.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a Remote based role that can be performed from a home officewith expected travel.Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.
Physical demands include but not limited to:
- Operating an electronic and viewing screens for ~100% of work schedule

Base Salary Range: $99,100.00 - $123,900.00
Target Total Cash Range: $123,875.00 - $154,875.00
Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
