The Role: We have a new opening for a National Account Manager, Advice Software to join our growing team that serves financial advice licensees and intermediaries to open new access points to financial advisers. This is a new exciting role brought about by our vision and strategic direction to be a trusted business partner to advisers to help them serve more clients, better. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, experienced self-starter with an evidenced track record of building strategic relationships in financial advice businesses and grow revenue in advice software. They will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth in national account licensees and licensee services groups. They will work closely with our Morningstar Wealth sales team and have a primary focus on increasing sales of AdviserLogic with advice practices in their licensees. The role is based is based in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Director, National Accounts to build strategic account plans for key licensees and licensee services groups to achieve Morningstar Wealth revenue goals.
- Stay abreast of all one-to-many engagement opportunities within key licensees to ensure we maximise each engagement opportunity by ensuring we are presenting the most appropriate content, correct strategic representatives from Morningstar and execute after each event to convert to revenue.
- Together with the Director, National Accounts, working alongside the Director AdviserLogic Sales to implement national account plans to achieve AdviserLogic sales goals.
- Complete AdviserLogic sales operations and processes within licensees to drive revenue for Morningstar Wealth. Including enhancing and automating sales processes for the external sellers in these licensees.
- Identify the ideal client profile for advice practices within licensees together to improve the quality of recruiting initiatives to grow AdviserLogic demonstrations.
- Building account-based marketing initiatives alongside the marketing team with targeted licensees to get Morningstar Wealth products onto approved product and software list to enable external sellers to sell.
- Monitor the ongoing performance of AdviserLogic within the licensee with recurring meetings and proactively engage with Morningstar Product and Success team to achieve the strategic account plan objectives.
- Provide ongoing insights to national account licensees on how AdviserLogic can address the licensee's requirements, by improving efficiencies, enhancing client engagement, helping scale an advice practice.
- Gather a detailed understanding of the licensee's priorities and goals for their advice software solutions to advisers. Including compliance, reporting, workflow efficiencies, competitor software arrangements, templates and integrations.
- Identify and understand their licensee pain points and challenges related to their advice software setup and operations
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to analyse data and insights from national accounts forums to grow revenue. Surface data in Tableau to allow easy interpretation of data and identify and track success.
- Build strong internal stakeholder relationships by working collaboratively with the AdviserLogic onboarding, success and product team to integrate tools, collateral and data to enhance efficiencies for advice practices. .
- Work collaboratively with marketing to improve conversion rates of adviser recruitment in national account licensee initiatives for AdviserLogic sales and cross selling to managed portfolios. Including building scripts and collateral to enhance conversion rates.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed from time to time.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on, organised individuals who meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail

- A proactive approach and can-do attitude to solving problems.
- The ability to work autonomously but also within a team environment, supporting multiple stakeholders.

- Results-driven with excellent attention to detail, including an ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and service standards to financial advisers.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills is highly desirable.
- Experience of working with Salesforce and Tableau is highly desirable.
