We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our dynamic and forward-thinking sales team. The ideal candidate will showcase their strategic and entrepreneurial expertise by building collaborative relationships and providing customer solutions through an integrated suite of media platforms, including our market leading television properties, best in class OTT product Premion, and other emerging assets.

Responsibilities:

•  Leverage extensive suite of client solutions;

•  Create a strategic go-to market plan for our customers;

•  Meet and exceed all revenue goals and targets on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis;

•  Demonstrate product knowledge and value to our customers;

•  Updating market conditions to the buying community;

•  Actively grow agency relationships at all levels;

•  Negotiate effectively to expand book of business;

•  Merchandise delivery and performance by stewardship of orders.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of major account engagement in a professional, fast paced digital media sales, advertising, or a related industry.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment

• Ability to multi-task and think strategically

• Ability to interpret data and analytics to provide actionable insights

• Self-motivated, high-energy team player with exceptional interpersonal skills

• In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels and industry trends, including programmatic, streaming media, display, video, social, and content marketing

Benefits: 

TEGNA offers comprehensive benefits designed to safeguard the physical, mental and financial health of our employees and their families. TEGNA offers two medical plan options for full and part-time employees through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, as well as access to dental and eye care coverage; fertility, surrogacy and adoption assistance; disability and life insurance.

Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA’s 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.

Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, ALL employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments with a physician through Teladoc, and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
