We are currently looking to hire a Nanny to join our team embedded with our client in San Francisco! This position requires working onsite at our client's location in San Francisco, CA.
*Location: San Francisco. We're seeking candidates who live in San Francisco or Marin County to ensure a manageable commute and reliable arrival times. The unpredictability of bridge traffic from the East Bay makes those commutes challenging for this role's schedule.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position provides care for children in multiple private households and provides support and expertise to parents in satisfying children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Duties may include laundry and clothing care, organization of play activities and outings, discipline, intellectual stimulation, language activities, and transportation.
- There is a lot of travel, with some schedule flexibility and occasional overnight trips.
- Light household duties when children will be attending school, and when there might be downtime without children.
- Assisting with homework and school projects
- Occasionally bathe, put to bed, serve lunch or dinner and assist with meal time
- Prepare snacks for the children
- See that the children’s supplies are stocked; order if supplies are low
- Prepare after-school activity items in a bag the night before
- Prepare lunches for school
- Transporting the children to and from school and other activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- 3+ years of childcare experience, including infant care
- Proficient knowledge of home safety and first aid
- Valid driver’s license and proficient driving skills
- Proficient knowledge of housekeeping and meal preparation
- Outstanding verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- This position requires up to 5% travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Cantonese is a plus
