The Payroll Data Management Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operational and administrative support to NAM GPS Head on a day-to-day basis in planning, coordination, timely reporting and control of a range of activities including financial oversight and management, developing short and long-term strategies, program management of the re-engineering roadmap, business analysis and communications. Deliver against ad-hoc projects and initiatives for NAM Global Payroll Services (GPS). Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments based on the analysis of factual information. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Good communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of all aspects of regional operating performance report for GPS NAM Region. This process emphasize highlights, risk, people and projects, issues and metrics production, including accomplishments, measure volumes, productivity and quality associated with the delivery of services across GPS NAM. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate GPS NAM Operating Report, maintaining data integrity and quality in reports
- Ensure accurate collection and reporting of GPS NAM related metrics & reports
- Produce regular and ad-hoc analysis and reports. Assist with designing and creation of new reports as required by GPS NAM and /or GPS Global teams
- GPS NAM SharePoint and other eTools management in line with Global GPS guidelines to provide support as single point of data repository and information access, effective communication and reduce email traffic volume
- Coordinate the standardization of GPS NAM activities and re-engineering efforts where appropriate
- Review and improve the processes within GPS NAM to enable clarity of roles, sharing of best practice and standardization where possible
- Carry out other tasks and duties as directed by NAM GPS Head in relation to the Cluster Operations function including but not limited to coordinating Operations calls & meetings, making all necessary arrangements, preparing advance documentation and ensuring minutes are taken and follow-up of actions
- Compile and analyze various GPS NAM related data streams
- Compile coherent related power point presentations
- Balance delivery of key tasks, prioritizing work according to business pressures and deliverables.
- Managing / maintaining the day-to-day requirements to support GPS NAM including stationery / TI equipment etc.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years relevant experience, preferably within a cross-cultural team environment
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite, SharePoint management, etc. Confident working with large datasets
- Expert in multi-tasking, organizing and prioritizing is a must
- Exceptional organizational, administrative & time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to see the big picture without losing attention to details
- Diplomatic skills
- Capable of working under pressure and using own initiative with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity in a high paced and complex organization
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
