About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading innovation planning, capacity planning, supply network design and optimization, collaborative manufacturing, and cost saving and optimization initiatives across NALI region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning, innovation management, and driving operational efficiencies. This role requires a proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovation planning strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive innovative solutions across the NALI region.
Ensure the timely rollout of innovations in the region by developing and executing the supply chain part of the innovation network and delivering quality on time in full (QOTIF) implementation.
Define an optimum sourcing network that meets the cost and timing targets of the innovation, aligning with the Group Category Supply Chain team.
Partner with the marketing team and represent the supply chain in regional innovation project meetings, preparing supply chain decision documents for gate discussions.
Allocate innovation capability and capacity, supporting the CAPEX request process for innovations with the Category Engineering Manager.
Anticipate and mitigate network risks and delays, identifying opportunities for better and faster innovation (BFI).
Develop the plan for the first production and ensure capacity at the sourcing site, considering stock building targets and collaborating with the sourcing unit and country supply planning team.
Develop transition plans with the sourcing unit and country supply planning team for the phasing out of existing products.
Ensure customer service levels are met within the first six months after innovation, coordinating with the sourcing unit, country teams, and other stakeholders to address supply and quality issues.
Manage innovation-related business waste and minimize it at the lowest possible level.
Coordinate supply chain assessments of raw/pack materials, manufacturing capability, capacity, and availability for innovations in collaboration with Regional Supply Management, Supply Planning, and the sourcing unit.
Coordinate indicative transfer prices for business cases and ensure actual costs align with the business case.
Translate category growth assumptions into volume assumptions for long-term capacity planning.
Drive midterm to long-term capacity planning for finished goods to support category growth, collaborating with relevant teams and leading investment needs.
Drive simplifications in the supply network and sourcing sites through harmonization opportunities, such as formulation, SKU rationalization, and portfolio management.
Support Category procurement team in delivering category savings plans through effective project management and coordination.
Analyze controlled costs (logistics, production) and identify cost-saving projects that benefit the region and align with sourcing strategies
Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) Management
Manage and coordinate network optimization, partnerships, innovation, and operational excellence activities for Collaborative Manufacturing within the region.
Optimize the network through internalization, consolidation, capacity planning, localization, and delisting activities.
Establish partnerships with contract models and transparency agreements.
Ensure operational excellence for key CMs by monitoring KPIs related to safety, quality, service, and performance and coordinating continuous improvement activities
About You:
7+ years of experience in supply chain management
Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, including capacity planning, network design, demand forecasting, and cost optimization.
Demonstrated experience in leading innovation initiatives and driving continuous improvement in a complex organizational environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong leadership abilities.
Ability to lead change/transformation with positive impact
Willingness to travel as needed to support regional initiatives and collaboration efforts.
