MX Tax Manager

About the role

In this role you will work with the local tax team as well as the US based tax partners. You will ensure the correct entry of all cash receipts as well as manage Tax Provider relations and Internal and Customer Communication regarding Tax Changes.Your work will span across all entities in Mexico as you will manage cash accounts and cash flow for Mexico entities and have ownership of adherence to US and MEX GAAP.

Responsibilities 

• Management of Tax, Transfer Price and Local Tax Reporting 

• Management of tax, transfer pricing provider relationships, required accounting support, PBCs and explanations 

• Tax Strategy Development and management 

• Ensure timely communication of Tax changes and implementations both internally and with customers 

• Management of internal controls over  tax, transfer pricing,  including remediation and ongoing support for internal audit testing 

• Ownership of application and adherence to US/Mexico taxation regulations and tax requirements 

• Management of  cash/bank reconciliations,  cargo claims  

Basic Qualifications:

• MX Tax Law, Federal, Estate and Local  

• Internal Control principles 

• US and MX GAAP 

• Oracle a/o Comparable System 

• Microsoft Office 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics

• SQL knowledge
